May has arrived and boy are we super excited for Rescues Rock the Runway III, a Pet Fashion Show to benefit the small breeds in need at Yorkie911 Rescue, Inc!! Tickets are NOW officially on sale and I'm pretty confident they will sell out.... because seriously, who wants to miss out on a pawsome event like this! Pups have been barking about it since last spring and for good reason! We will have Couture Doggie Designs on the Runway by Roberto Negrin & Ada Nieves, Pampered Pets Boutique, ToniMari Designs & The Doggie Nanny Boutique, a Red Carpet Photo Op by Puparazzi, Comedian Harris Bloom, a Yummy Buffet, Raffle Baskets Galore, a Doggie Play Area, Best Dressed Contests w/Prizes, Celebrity Guest Appearances & sooo much more! The event isn't free- it's $50 in advance and $65 at the door but the Goodie Bag alone will make it worth it! Not to mention all of the delicious food you will get to eat all while helping out a great cause! So join us for a fun-filled Sunday afternoon on June 3, 2012 from 12p-4p @ the LI Sheraton in Hauppauge, NY!

Did you Know?

The Yorkie911 Rescue Squad receives calls about toy breeds in need all of the time. We could always benefit from adding a few more foster families to the Yorkie911 Foster Care Program which is made up of an amazing network of families. If you would like to become a Foster Family for a Yorkie or other toy breed in need, please fill out the Adoption Application (it's the same application for volunteers & foster applicants) to get the process started. I am sure you will agree that fostering is such a rewarding experience. Ask any of our foster families if you don't believe me! You could learn a lot from a rescued dog and who knows, maybe the dog will rescue you, like I rescued my Mommy, Daddy and fur-siblings! Did you know that many of our foster families have been rescued by a rescue, just like me?! It's true. Woof!
