Update 2/3/12: Some sad news for Paolo. He was seen by a specialist who told us that he has a detached retina in one eye and has developed Glacoma in the other. Sadly, he will have to have the one eye that still has some vision removed this week to stop the pain (like having a constant migraine headache) that comes from Glacoma. He has no vision in the eye with the detached retina and in time this one will also develop Glacoma. THE GOOD NEWS is that he will still live a long, happy, healthy life once this is taken care of. Dogs use their sense of smell much more than their sight. We truly hope someone will come along and see what a wonderful pup he is.
