Update 10/1/14: Taco was adopted this past April. He finds himself back in rescue because his mom died suddenly 2 weeks ago. Please help Taco find another wonderful home. He was so happy these past few months and we want him to find fur-ever happiness.
Update 3/31/14: Ok so here's the real story -- My name is Taco Chip. I got my name because my birthday is Cinco de Mayo. I am a really sweet boy but I am a really nervous boy. You see I lived with a lady of the evening until animal protection came and rescued me and my sister. There were always men coming and going and that scared me! My sister was adopted a long time ago she was much friendlier than I am, people seem to like that. In my foster home I have a foster brother and sister doggie to play with. I really like my foster brother and sister so another dog would probably be best in the house for me. Once I get to know you all I want to do is sit on your lap and follow you around. I am looking for one very special person who will be patient until I feel secure and then I will love you fur-ever! I will be your Taco Chip shadow. I have been in my foster home for a very long time waiting for someone to adopt me. I pray every night that I will get a home of my own.
Update 3/12/14: My foster mom is training me to do all sorts of new tricks. I can sit, go to my "home", greet you at the door, and my favorite is come for a cookie!! I'm a sweet fun loving poodle. I can be shy around new people, but I love to cuddle with the people I love. I'm the perfect companion for you or your dog, big or small it doesn't matter I love to play with them all. I'm hoping to get lucky and find my fur~ever home soon. Please put your application in for me today! I love my foster family (been there for a long time) but would love a fur-ever home of my own so they can help more pups like me that need an in-between home.
Update 1/6/14: Happy New Year! My resolution is to find a new home - I have been in my foster home too long! I'm a sweet loving boy who will follow you around anywhere. My favorite place to be is on your lap!! My foster mom never has to look for me I'm right there by her side. She calls me her shadow! I'm best suited for someone who is either home most of the day or has other pets. I will miss you when you are gone and I may cry. If you already have a dog my tail will wag extra hard for you! I do not cry when I am with my foster (furry) brother and sister. Please help me make my dreams of a furever home come true. I'm as sweet and loving as they come! Please let me share my love with you!
Update 8/23/13: I'm a sweet 7 year old poodle. I'm sorta a shy guy, with lots of love in my heart to share with the right person. I love to be with other dogs. My foster mom has two great play areas in her house. I love to run and jump with the other dogs. I love to watch my foster mom. It took me a while to understand I could trust her. Now, I sit with her every night. I love to have my belly rubbed. I came into the rescue with my sister Harlie. Since we have been living together with my foster family I realized there are so many people out there that could love me! We know its the best thing to try to find our own homes. I would be happiest with other dogs, but i will still give lots of love to my humans! So, if you are looking to add to your pack a sweet loving boy I'm your guy!! My adoption fee is $300.
