Live music, costume contest, vendors, pet demonstrations, food, children’s games and activities as well as a great raffle and silent auction will all be part of this year’s Paws 2 Love event.
The Kiwanis Club of Three Village-Brookhaven Township is hosting its 16th Annual Duck Race on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at the Setauket Pond. This fun family event has become part of our community heritage, and we are looking for your support to make it our most successful event to date. Proceeds from this event will benefit various local and international charity programs: Eliminating Neonatal Tetanus in underprivileged countries, Support-the-Kid, The Soup Kitchen at St. James RC Church, Our Daily Bread in Setauket, Thanksgiving Baskets for local families, Stony Brook Pediatric Trauma Center and service scholarships for the Ward Melville Key Club, as well as other Kiwanis sponsored programs with state, federal and international reach. BEST FRIENDS ANIMAL SOCIETY'S 4TH ANNUAL
NEW YORK PET SUPER ADOPTION Westchester County Center White Plains, NY April 28, 2013 Over 7,600 people came to meet the adoptable animals at the first two Super Adoptions, and nearly 800 dogs and cats have found loving homes. This event was free to the public. Those who attended got the chance to meet Yorkie911 Rescue pups who were in need of homes and Rescue Squad volunteers were on hand to answer questions and help you find your match! April 13, 2013  Dog Days: Guests brought their leashed dog for an invigorating walk and healthy exercise in designated garden areas. Guest met fellow dog lovers in a beautiful environment. Dogs were leashed. Guests were able to enjoy all of the exhibitors & vendors, including Yorkie911 Rescue who were there on Saturday, April 13th & met the small breeds in need of a furever home!

The Big Apple Sporting Society was on-site to administer the AKC Canine Good Citizen exams and run a sporting dogs match. Contestants brought their Yorkie911 Rescue adopted pups down to Petco Unleashed in Albertson on Saturday, March 16th @ 3:00p and wore their "Best" to walk the aisle for our panel of judges. The Top 3 Runway models were notified and enter the Finals.
