Update 3/29/17:  Mops saw the eye specialist today and it was determined that he is not a candidate for surgery.  The good news is that his sense of smell and his hearing are so good that once he knows the layout of the home and yard, he rarely bumps into anything.  The Dr. explained that dogs use their sense of smell first anyway and sight is secondary to them - just the opposite of people.  Hopefully, someone is out there for Mops as he is a very affectionate, playful boy who just needs someone to love.

Mops came into rescue a hot mess.  After a spa day, we realized his eyes were in bad shape.  Sadly, one eye had severe glacoma and had to be removed so he would not be in so much pain.  His other eye has a cataract and he will see a specialist to determine if surgery would give him sight in that eye.  With all he has endured, this boy is so sweet, affectionate and playful.  He learns his surroundings so you would not even know he can't see where he is going.  Mops would be a great addition to any home.  Please open your heart and home to this amazing boy.  Adoption fee $350.
