Update 10/3/11: Woof Woof! Monty here!  I am a lot of fun.  I like to jump on my foster Dad's lap when he sits down just so he can pet me and I like getting belly rubs too!  I like children who will play nicely with me (which I hear is not so common with my breed).  I play with toys and I also play fetch.  I get along with other dogs and try to engage play with new friends! The other day I made my foster Dad crack up... I grabbed my two doggie beds and pulled them out of my pen as if they were toys.  I think he thought it was funny because the beds were two times bigger than me!  Woof!  I guess I have this bad habit of running out the door or gate, which is probably what landed me in doggie prison in the first place so he insists on teaching me to sit and stay when doors are opened.  The cool part about this is that I am catching on quick!  The same thing happened when my foster Mom saw me lifting my leg to mark where I was and when she corrected me, I listened!  Then went outside to do my business and was rewarded with so many pets and encouragement.  I like that feeling a lot!  Training is fun and I am ready to learn more!  My foster Dad is also practicing the sit command, recall and stay... since I am so food motivated, I super easy to teach!  Pretty neat stuff wouldn't you say?  So visit www.yorkie911rescue.com and fill out an adoption application if you're ready to love a cool dog like me furever! 

Woof Woof!  My name's Monty!  Aren't I a cutie?!  Really though, check me out!  I am super friendly and full of energy.  Animal control found me roaming the streets, picked me up and brought me to a shelter.  I was waiting and waiting but no one ever came for me so the Shelter called the Rescue Squad to help find me a new home!  So far I have proven to be such a great little boy!  I like my crate, I barely make a peep and with some basic training, I will be the best little boy ever!  I love to run around in the backyard and I like other dogs.  I visied the dogter and was neutered so I am available for adoption now!  Hurry and get your application in at www.yorkie911rescue.com if you think we'll be a match!  A young, sweet Yorkie like me won't be in rescue very long!  My adoption fee is $350.
