Update 9/22/12: I made my first public appearance since my surgery and boy was I more than content to sit back on a warm lap to take a nap! I have a sweet personality and my foster Mommy says someone will be a very lucky adopter one day! I have some great traits- I am house broken, friendly and love to sit at my foster Mom's feet & keep her warm. So lets live long and prosper together! Visit www.yorkie911rescue.com.
Update 9/5/12: Woof! Woof! So my new name is Mr. Spock but my foster family calls me Spock. I looked like a mess when I first arrived in rescue and I am so thankful to the Rescue Squad for cleaning me up and making me feel new again! I am so happy now that my tail never stops wagging! I had mats of hair covering my eyes so I could hardly see anything and well, you guess it, my coat was terribly matted as well. This is why I look so naked in my new photos but this could change if you allow my hair to grow & brush it out daily. Woof! While I am not he best looking dog (yet!) my personality will win you over in a heartbeat. My foster Mommy says that considering everything that I have been through, I am truly looking and feeling pretty darn good! I am also a sweet little boy that gets along with other dogs and cats too. I LOVE to get belly rubs and like to be next to someone who will give me some love. I am also housebroken on wee wee pads. I am proud to say that I never miss! Yep I am such a good boy. The Rescue Squad says I am a "diamond in the ruff"! My adoption fee is $350 and you can visit www.yorkie911rescue.com to fill out an application for me. The vet renamed me Mr. Spock after she had to remove one of my toes - said I look like I am giving the sign to "Live Long & Prosper" like in the Star Trek movies! I don't mind though. In fact, I actually think it is a great name for me. I am very new to the rescue so please check for updates once they have had a chance to get to know me. I am already rubbing up on my foster mom, giving her kisses even though I was in so much pain. More about Mr. SpockGood with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids
