Steve and his daughter Shannon, who adopted Nala and Timone - both heartworm positive dogs, let us know that Timon passed away Friday evening. He will be missed! RIP Timon!

His foster family shared, "Even though he was only here for a few weeks, we miss him." Chickie was in foster care with his partner Hailey waiting for a furever family to adopt them. Jakester was as an elderly stray found along a busy highway and from all appearances had not known much in the way of care or attention for quite some time. Yorkie911 changed all that by rescuing him one day before his scheduled euthanasia date and he spent the remaining two months of his life enjoying naps by the fireplace, steak and the love of his foster family, whose hearts are saddened without their sweet boy. He passed away on 12-28-11 but his family knows one day they will see him again. ["If there is a heaven, it's certain our animals are to be there.
